Is that a new pipe to you pipe??? I was bidding on something very/exactly similar that went for $265. Worth every penny and them some.
I dropped out around $235
Would have bid more but decided on a Ser Jacopo north of that.
I have a few Rads and they are treasures
Regardless
Good for you
Yes I just got this from coopersark. My high bid was 297.00, I got a great pipe, it smokes as good as any Rad in my collection.

Now smoking some 2012 Astleys no 44 Dark Flake in a Rad Davis Rhodesian.

2011 Penzance in a Charatan's Make pot today, all gifts from another forum member. This stuff is pretty special, but I'm still not convinced Esoterica is worth all the trouble to acquire it...
My opinion only, but 8 year old Penzance is past its prime and the lat is on the downswing. It's one I prefer at 3 - 4 years max. But opinions are like...
I'll have to agree here.
While I am not a Penzance fan in general, I've smoked some 2007 Penzance and some at only a couple years, and fresh. The stuff from 2007 basically has no latakia presence at all, and it tastes like musty dusty oriental. Even at two years the Latakia has seriously diminished from fresh.
If you can get your hands on some Stonehaven, that is probably one of the only things out of the Germain house that has really blown my skirt up.
The last bit of old Penzance I had got mixed with some fresh stuff and that was a pretty nice combo.

I should have sent you some of the Germain's brown flake in the VA box (not the "Bridge old brown flake" but the regular one) it's a favorite around here and I forgot that I had a little bit tucked away. I'd say I'm a pretty big fan of the majority of things coming out of Germain's and I encourage everyone to dislike them to make it easier for me to get

Good evening from Greece, i am smoking Clan Aromatic in a Brebbia while drinking Kahlúa. I am not watching the "Eurovision" song contest because has nothing to do with real European countries and it's not vision but corruption and politics.
