Any recommendations on a reasonably priced English blend? Prefer to buy by the pound.

Peter Stokkebye English Oriental and PS English Luxury. Mind you, I'm no expert on Englishes by any means. I'm sure others will have lots of good suggestions.

Presbyterian mixture is not unreasonable, if you can find it. C&D Engine 99, Pirate Kake, Star of the East, Villeger-Early Day, GL Pease Gaslight. These are a few English blends which I like that do not break the bank, especially if you catch them on sale.

If you just mean something with Virginia, Oriental, and Latakia as "English", then some decent bulks, outside of the two PS blends MikeDennison already mentioned -

Arango(Stokkebye) Balkan Supreme
Comoy's Cask #11 (good if you want a slightly sweeter english)
Sutliff Heavy English
Sutliff Match 965 and Nightcap
Peter Stokkebye Proper English
Planta Mellow English

Those are all the ones I've personally tried and I found to be good.

Also good and cheap, but not bulk is Peterson's Wild Atlantic.

Not even gonna touch the subject of what is or isn't "English". Not with a ten foot pole, with a rubber on the end.
I like to call them Latakia blends to avoid the whole thing entirely, and to stop one country from getting the credit for a whole category of blend styles(most of which didn't even originate there).

Sadly all my favorite English blends have been discontinued or are out of stock.
