1) I pretended to like Morrissey in high school, for a girl.
2) My first pipe tobacco was Captain Black Cherry.

Of these, I regret CBC the most.
It still hurts my tongue to think about it.

1. Sometimes I do sexy shirtless pipe poses in the mirror when no one is home.

2. I actually like mixture #79

There.. I said it!
I feel better now.

1) I am a hater of many things that are much loved by pipe hipsters - Esoterica, Germain, C&D, McClelland, Savinelli, Smokingpipes.com..
2) I hated M79 at first, mainly because it smells like Urinal Cake when it's fresh out of the pouch. After letting the pouch air for a couple days I ended up loving it. Now I weird everyone out in the public restroom because I am breathing deeply when I take a leak, trying to catch a whiff of that M79 goodness.
3) I don't do a "charring light", I just light the damn pipe.
4) I am a closet fan of brylon, stingers, and other probably useless gimmicky crap.
5) Since I am not allowed to smoke inside, I sometimes fantasize about having a pipe on the can.
6) I have burned out 2 pipes and both were MM Cobs.
7) I have pretended to like a lot of things for girls, including the girls themselves..

I regret nothing.

I really think some of this stuff should be kept to the confessional. That stuff about liking M79? NOBODY needs to know that. 🤣

1. I didn't go to college where I really wanted...because of a girl.
2. I can't wait for the IPA bubble to burst. They all smell like cat pee to me.
3. My first pipe tobacco was Half & Half. I almost gave up on the spot.
4. I think I look stupid smoking a Legend, so I usually only smoke it at home.

Probably should have gone to Kent State after all.

I too can't wait for the IPA bubble to burst! Some are good but most are so bad they're not worth trying to see if they're good!

I like older kaywoodies, stinger and all.
I am a shameless burleyphile..
I found after 50 years I can actually tolerate latakia (as a condiment only)
After the same 50 year period I discovered I really enjoy perique.
It may take an additional 50 years for me to properly appreciate meerschaum.
I have discovered that in my case, the search for a grail tobacco is quite likely a hopeless endeavor..(unless it be OJK, Big n Burley or Bayou Night)

I too have come to the conclusion that any expedition of this nature falls into the "striving after the wind" category. "Tobacco ambition" is the enemy of contentment.
