Well the Morta I got about a month ago. Actually have 2 more on the way. Churchwarden and a Peterson Bent Rusticated I got for about half the price. I’m pretty new so these are basic pipes. Haven’t tried the Stanwell yet. Deciding what I’m going to smoke in it. The Morta, (Vermont freehand)ImageImage I’m smoking Plum Pudding and Blackhouse. Not enough pipes to dedicate any one tobacco yet. It’s a good smoker but def need to pace yourself as they heat up.

The stanwell comes with 2 stems. I don’t get the longer “semi-chruchwarden” stem. It’s not long enough to have any effect it seems except throw off your muscle memory on distance. Feel like I’ll stab myself in the mouth with that a lot. :D Def a diff look and feel to most I’ve had. Smooth and satin feel. So far I like it. Will try out today.

I've never been disappointed in a Stanwell pipe. I love them.
