I picked up a bottle at the distillery when I was there a few months ago with a coworker/good friend. Actually bought two. One for him (he was retiring a few weeks later) and one for me for when I retire. I’ll haven't drank in years but I have that bottle and a quart of blue berry moonshine another good friend made in 2002 waiting for when I decide to.

As a related side note, I used to keep a fifth of Dickel in the freezer and one of Maker’s Mark in the cabinet at all times. In case if an emergency or something.

I haven't had Dickel. If it tastes like Jack Daniel's then I'd like it. Water's for washin', Dickel's for drinkin'.

I don't think it's 12 year stuff . It's says no,12 ... it says it's aged years longer than no.8 . Just thought I'd make that observation now that I'm looking at it with glasses
