Made some fried clam stips and scallops and homemade cocktail sauce. Not quite a frito misto but close enough.

I was at the Bourbon House today. I ordered a dozen raw oysters with caviar. They come dressed with caviar, of course, and a little souse of sour vinegar, and a pinch of pickled onions. It is a decadent and wholly satisfying lunch.

The caviar, of course, was Louisiana caviar. https://www.cajuncaviar.com/products-1/ ... jun-caviar

I always ask for extra caviar in a little monkey dish on the side.

That bowfin caviar is delish. Better than sturgeon!

It is really dangerous have a Pho shop by my kid's apartment. We may be regulars: The owner met us at the door when she recognized us.

I had lunch with a lady gynecologist. I made a new friend today. We went all over the French Quarter, wandering from place to place, hear and there, sampling nibbles and sips.

I forgot to attach this photo. This is where we had our main meal. It is like eating in a castle.

It's really in a hotel across from the street from the Louisiana Supreme Court.

Louisiana is the only state that has its Supreme Court in a city other than its capital. Look it up.

Heading out for some authentic Mexican food with the kiddos, they love street style tacos.
