I just looked up what a Richardson 112 is.
This is not the cap for me. Not by a long shot.
If I were to wear a cap like this, I would wear a Hemingway Old Man and the Sea swordfisherman's hat. I bought one for Mrs. King in the yellow waxed canvas. It is very nice.https://quakermarine.com/collections/swordfish
I am not one to wear a cap, however. For me it is no brim, a la fez or beret, or 3 1/2 brim all around a la the Shadow.

I have a very large head and the 112 is always a great fit and lookRonv69 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 13, 2023 5:43 pmI took your advice and bought a Richardson 112 for myself. It fits my weird head better than any cap I've ever had. Most caps aren't deep enough to fit me right.Mr Beardsley wrote: ↑Sat Nov 04, 2023 9:50 pm Still a baseball hat guy. Richardson 112 is my weapon of choice

Those don't come close to fitting my head.Citizen B wrote: ↑Mon Nov 13, 2023 6:30 pm I just looked up what a Richardson 112 is.

I had a fez when I was a kid. We all got them from the Shrine Circus. That was the only place you ever saw one in Houston.

That is really cool. It may work better for me than standard ballcap.Citizen B wrote: ↑Mon Nov 13, 2023 6:30 pm I just looked up what a Richardson 112 is.

Mrs. King wanted more eye shade when she is dog training. I have a few of their wool berets. Everything is good quality. The oysterman's hat is kind of weird with it's police polish brim but I can see how it would be functional were I an oysterman.Piping Abe wrote: ↑Mon Nov 13, 2023 7:39 pmThat is really cool. You and Beaumont! I have spent all the time in Beaumont that any human should be forced to endure.
