So I was reading this thread and then, by the time I got to this post and I'm, like, why the heck is Pipelover talking about Condor in a fountain pen thread?

I hear mincemeat isn't really meat, but fruit, where you come from, so I can't say say for sure if we eat the same kind of pies you do. I'm betting no.

My grandad used venison in his mincemeat, which he made from scratch. Dear Sweetie & her folks use the store-bought, jarred kind, which is fruit. At least, that's what it is on this side o' the pond. :D
