Golf Tee Tamper

I need a golf tee because I need a wooden tamper/aerator spike. I don't play golf so I don't need a bag of 100 of them, just one to use as a pipe nail.

I'm going to the course up the road from me tomorrow to ask the pro shop if they can spot me a complimentary tee. Think they'll do it? I'll ask for one with the club's name printed on it.

I can't remember the last time I was in a golf course pro shop. The last time I went, I got free soup at the 19th hole for the hat I was wearing. I love free soup, as long as it's not tomato soup, which I have always detested.

I do have metal pipe nails but I need a wooden one for my "le Smoke."

Why a golf tee? Just break off a piece of bamboo from your yard and scrape it on the ground to flatten it. Wa la.
