I'll never be able to forget the day I burned 10 years of comic book subscriptions. A couple of hundred from the sixties. Superman, Batman, Fantastic Four, Flash, Spiderman, Aquaman Richy Rich, Archie, and more.

This was a good one. It's set in the Super-Stalag of Space, I think.Ruffinogold wrote: ↑Sat Nov 06, 2021 8:33 pm Man , I just found on ebay my birth year and month Adventure comic . Bidding on it and hope I get it

The art work on the covers is awesome. I’m guessing it’s the same all the way through? I never got into comic books. Me and my brother had car magazines. I think there are still a couple boxes of them in my attic.

The latest episode of Gilbert Godfried's Amazing Colossal Podcast is a tribute to Boris Karloff in which the guests are two historians and Karloff's daughter, Sarah Karloff. It's super-interesting and heartfelt. Outside the podcast, I have zero interest in Gilbert Godfried. I never would have suspected that he and I would have so much in common.Bruyere_Royale wrote: ↑Sun Nov 07, 2021 7:03 am I did a quick search for my birth year/month and came up with this. Pretty cool.

I subscribed to Hot Rod magazine from age 11 to 20. I studied each one in detail.

The covers had to do the selling. Usually the story didn't live up to the cover.
