🙄when I first started using ncrobb I thought it was pretty original.

So that’s what happened! I figured something was up. I had also been a very long time member as well. Actually donated to the site.
I knew many, many members there. Well here I am, and I’ll be sticking for a long, long time!

Yes.
I remember all that and all those people.
I was a member of Ed’s Common Sewers club also. I haven’t thought of those times in ages it seems.
I do have a souvenir around here somewhere.

I remember emailing him to get on the list.
“Finally something I can afford? Hell yeah… I mean, Yes please!”

Spoke with Rad several times at the Chicago pipe shows.
He was very nice to me. Seemed like a decent hardworking person as I recall.
Cheers

I was member there, active as here. This site has been under attack for 3 times in the past and totally erased so every time i had to Login (all the previous post and photos of every member have gone) and now it's the final time. I don't know the reasons (maybe were financial) and i didn't manage to say ''goodbye'' when it closed. There was in the Past another UK pipe smoking forum from Briar Spirit, the kinsfolkoftheleaf.com but didn't last long, unfortunately has been attacked and everything gone.

smokersforums was extraordinary back around 2011-2012. Mismanagement wrecked the place and the users fled. I mourned it. At its peak it was a great community.
I hope our names are touching on the watch list

I remember smokersforums. Meh.

If I owned a forum I would call it "In the Company of Briar" or "Briar&Co." but I don't and I never will. It has a welcoming ring to it and if I see these words strung together in any other sentence I'll know where you ripped it off! Lol
