Beautiful pipe. Great grain.
Savinelli calls it a Straight Grain C.
It certainly is straight grain. I just finished smoking Orion’s Arrow in a distant cousin of that pipe, a Rossi Vittoria 8315. Love the shape but of course it is not a beautiful pipe like that.

Earlier, had some Riverboat Gambler in one of the bamboo-shanked cobs driving to/from visiting Dad. When I came home, it was more Riverboat Gambler in the Monday cob. After dinner, i had GH Rum Twist in self-made freehand #1, Now, smoking Pegasus in a Dr. G Westbrook billiard.

Springfield Plateau? Northern Arkansas?
I'm in Springfield NJ since retirement from the pulpit eight years ago.

In any event, thank you for the welcome.
