I got to visit his gravesite a couple years after getting out. I actually met someone at a Whataburger last year that was one of the Frozen Chosen under Chesty. Talk about about an old guy with stars in his eyes (me).

My stepfather was at Chosin. A real Old Corps S.O.B. but you had to respect him. He had no use and nothing good to say about us "Baby Face Marines". I was always expecting one of those baby faces to lay him out for inspection sooner or later. It never happened. I'm fairly sure its a lot warmer than the Chosin Basin where he is now.
