Youll more than likely have to do it 2 or three times . When yout get the paint/finish removed , "wash " the piece with mineral spirtits and 0000 seet wool . It probably says that on the can but if it doesnt .. do it . It gets remaining bs off

A natural bristle brush and a real thick coat laid on in one direction works best with that gel stuff . The probablem with too thin is it evaporates a bit and doesnt stay wet ... thick thick coat

Just got finished clear coating my dad’s old coffee table
Trying to child proof it against my 2 year old great granddaughter.I’ll let the table cure for a couple weeks before bringing it back to the living room

Hopefully it will last another century

This used to be the entry way table at our small town post office
Dad cut it down to coffee table height and refinished it back in the day
