Tinned Seafood (and other deliciousness)
What I want to know is who decided that 66.5 oz would be the largest sized can in which tuna would be made available? Every single tuna brand tops out at a 66.5 oz can. Damn big tuna conspiracy, I say!
You know how produce is measured by a bale or a bushel that has no reference to how people in the modern world ever buy produce. 66.5oz is what is called a standard "can". in the tuna industry. When Chicken of the Sea says that they sold a million cans, they don't mean the can you bought at Piggly Wiggly. They mean they sold 665,000,000 ounces of canned tuna. They sell more than am million cans of tuna every year.

Someone asked me yesterday, "Why do you have a tin of anchovies?"
I was taken aback. Someone called it tinned fish, not canned. I met an aficionado. She was pretty, too, which made our conversation twice as nice.

It's obvious that it's because it comes to an even 1.8852432873 kilos!
Most likely is that there's a standard can size and that's how much tuna it holds.
God and Texas!
Probably because tins are flat and cans look like what Campbell's soup comes in. I have found that you find attractive women more agreeable, which I can't argue with. I believe it's because you don't actually hear what they're saying.
God and Texas!
I enjoy the company of all types of women, but, I have to admit, I like spending time with the pretty ones best, the ones that remind me of Muriel Hauptmann.

Her great granddaughter is more musky but there is no substitute for the original Muriel Hauptmann.
