Is that tin blue? I can't tell.
Blue? I don't follow you? Blue sardines? (I'm not well up on seafood, unless it's deep fried in batter!)

The tin itself is pink coloured. Blue???! ... Sorry if I'm missing something, I just woke up!
You're not missing anything I just couldn't tell. The plate has blue accents.
I thought I'd missed the joke! ... Yeah, the plate has deep blue accents but the tin is sort of salmon pink colour. Are you colour blind?

Store brand sardines. They may as well be generic.

Well, she'd struggle to catch them herself as she can't leave the house! I don't eat them, personally, though I do like tuna and mackerel.

I tend to do the following. Blend one tin of tuna or mackerel with a few tablespoons of cottage cheese, fresh herbs (parsley or coriander is good), the zest and a squeeze of 1 lemon or/and lime and plenty of pepper to give it some bite. It works with a fork and bowl if you can't be bothered to clean a blender after. Makes a lovely fish pate that goes perfectly on seeded toast 👌

I’m gonna make this, substituting mayonnaise, or miracle whip for the cottage cheese.
