Made some toasted walnut and ramp pesto. Slathered it on my BLT this evening WOW! So good.
Looks tasty! If I ate walnuts I would need an epi pen asap! I'm highly allergic.

That does look tasty! First time I ever ate pesto it was prepared by an Italian friend of my brother's, and he used walnuts instead of pine nuts. It was frickin delicious.
Because sometimes the body just wants canned fish. 🦪

Sometimes months go by before we see a lonely looking state cop drive by on patrol of the backroads here. We get along for the most part with a very low crime rate. Mostly petty stuff when it happens. I attribute that to the fact that everybody I know is armed. Maybe they don't carry, but you can count on a firearm being in their house and vehicle. Would be criminals seem to know this. The cops don't care as they know it makes their job easier, not harder, as the news would portray. Several have told me this. You get no attention for a rifle or shotgun in the rear rack of your truck. No problem with a pistol in your glove box or your wastband as long as you tell them beforehand. Usually just an uninterested grunt while he writes the speeding ticket or whatever. Try that in New York City.

I will freeze 10- 12 lbs for myself but I’ve been selling them. The first 20 lbs I picked was all sold yesterday. I picked another 25 lbs today and I’ve sold 5 lbs of them so far.

Out of curiosity, what's the going rate?
I wonder if "blame Wildcat" will become a theme here? - Fr_Tom

We don't have those in the south. Sounds a bit like asparagus?
