We get colder here in a month or so. The good news is we only get one snow storm. It starts in October and ends in May.Kevin Keith wrote: ↑Sat Jul 30, 2022 8:53 pm This is how you handle 100 degrees at 8:53pm. I dread the cooler weather, which should be here by January. lol

I’m guessing most people just use LiptonRonv69 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 31, 2022 10:18 amRecipe? You brew the tea, mix in cane sugar to taste and add a little more and pour it over ice.Piping Abe wrote: ↑Sun Jul 31, 2022 10:04 am I need a good sweet tea recipe if anyone has one. Always wanted to try and make some myself. Being a northerner I never had sweet tea until I enlisted, moved away and discovered it. Love the stuff

Lipton works, but we use Luzianne.Piping Abe wrote: ↑Sun Jul 31, 2022 10:57 amI’m guessing most people just use LiptonRonv69 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 31, 2022 10:18 amRecipe? I use whatever black tea is cheapest. And use about 10 to 15 regular size tea bags for a gallon. It has to be strong enough that the ice won’t dilute it too much. Sweeten to taste. I use Splenda. And squeeze some Real Lemon in the glass.

Nothing wrong with Lipton (it’s my favorite)
But other people round here like MILO’s
I drank tea with various artificial sweeteners for a long time, but then I found that it was messing up my gut so I started drinking it with less sugar until I came to prefer it with no sweetener at all. I can drink a gallon of unsweetened tea a day.Kevin Keith wrote: ↑Sun Jul 31, 2022 11:26 am I use whatever black tea is cheapest. And use about 10 to 15 regular size tea bags for a gallon. I’ve tried Luzianne but I did not like the artificial sweetener
