Pipefloating is much more my speed than using the term lunting. Ever. I hate that word even more than bespoke or stone fruit

I cant tell if your trip is taking you through Murfreesboro , TN .. but if so , they had a pipe shop called 310 pipe shop , it was a cool old school shop . If you go through there , it would be worth checking out , unless its changed over the years . My buddy Chuck bought a stellar Peter Stokkebye pipe there ... they had some real Gems

This trip straddles the Arkansas/Tennessee line where they do touch. Murfreesboro is pretty centered in Tennessee. Maybe next time! This is the leg of the trip that I’ve done time and time again, so it might be interesting to Cheever it up in the future.Ruffinogold wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 10:33 pm I cant tell if your trip is taking you through Murfreesboro , TN .. but if so , they had a pipe shop called 310 pipe shop , it was a cool old school shop . We just really like stopping in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The bathhouses are amazing and we like to grab the natural spring water from the free fountains on the streets.

My wife and I were in Onekama, MI on a busman's holiday one year, and we went on a day trip to Traverse City. We went to a pipe shop there that does not seem to be in business any more. It was pretty disappointing. Other than that, I don't have much insight.Jlando19 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 2:51 pm
Leaving this Saturday to spend a week on the road. Iwan Ries is definitely on the list of places to stop. Paul’s is a little out of the way for this trip. Anyone know of any other note able tobacco related stops along the route? I know the path you can see here is pretty generalized.
I plan to do some lunting and whatever you call smoking a pipe in a kayak up in Lake Michigan. Pictures will be taken!

Got my tactical road tripping pipe kit ready to go. I’m taking Half&Half, Carter Hall, TG Maple&Rum and a jar of Bayou Morning. I think that should satisfy my needs. Maybe I’ll find something along the way to add to the list.

That set up is full of win. Maybe add some small cigars for a quick hit

That pack is very nice. I may grab one. Been looking for a new one. How do you like it?

I like them quite a bit actually. They are actually having a buy one get one sale right now on most of their legacy series products.Piping Abe wrote: ↑Sat Aug 13, 2022 2:57 pmThat pack is very nice. I may grab one. Been looking for a new one. How do you like it?
