I reread my post and what I meant by this is trying the pressing process.

Got a pre-press mold (2" x 4" x 2.2") today. Loaded it up tonight. Hoping for something with less ragged edges. We'll see in a week.

The pre press molds are a game changer. Did yours come with plastic sheets to lay top and bottom to help prevent sticking?

Same. That's why I asked. Makes removal a little cleaner.

It's gotta be easier than prying a cake out of a can. We'll see this time next week.

I'm working on another "blend". 85/15 mix of GLP Fillmore and HH ODF-RR. I mixed a 50 gram batch and loaded my pre-press molds and will have them press for a week. I also made up a 25 gram batch and kept it loose for sampling while I wait on the cakes. The first bowl was pretty tasty. I think I'll increase the amount of ODF, 80/20 maybe, next time.
