The egg shape (top down view) of the wood feels damn good in the hand. Oops, that didn't sound quite right! But I swear with all of these pipes it's like @rekamepip has been spying on me somehow and got the look and feel of all of them just right just for me!
Bradford Pear Pipe
Yeah, I didn't dislike it, it just didn't "get" it or Virginia flakes in general at the time. I now do, but just haven't yet circled back around to that early tin. Maybe it's time to do so. Although I'm thinking that I have been grabbing the Luxury Twist Flake so frequently that maybe I should do that one in this pipe first as a known benchmark. Yep, I think that's the money.Mr Beardsley wrote: ↑Thu Oct 20, 2022 4:51 pmI still like OGS and it was one of the first flakes I ever had.

That's still a good occasional smoke round here too. The one stokkebye I've fallen completely out of love with was the LBF. The Cavendish just made it so damn boring for mekschatey wrote: ↑Thu Oct 20, 2022 4:58 pmYeah, I didn't dislike it, it just didn't "get" it or Virginia flakes in general at the time. I've actually never had the LBF, but finally got an ounce to try. I'm a big fan of the LTF and Newminster 400 though.Mr Beardsley wrote: ↑Thu Oct 20, 2022 5:15 pmThat's still a good occasional smoke round here too.
