It is so warm today that I thought about wearing shorts. I then thought also that it is too early in the year. I am home, so I am not in full regalia, but, shorts seem to me to be too indulgent for March.

Though I was in Connecticut last week, where it was 40 degrees (F) colder, and I hated being in Connecticut, not only for the weather, but also for the culture and not for the people who are my immediate family, I still maintain my cranky Yankee sense of what is appropriate to wear for what month.

That said, I did switch from felt hats to straw ones a few weeks ago because the weather has been too warm to sport a felt fedora.

Dislike! According to the forecast the temps are ramping up here over the next few days too. Can't wait to see how hot it will actually be

Same here. The house is heat soaked. Been hot all month on top of July and next 4 days are going to be the hottest yet.

I've been trying to stay hydrated (with alcohol) and peeing on the house a lot to help keep it cool. :) it's not working. There isn't much hope when it comes to a non-insulated balloon framed house that was built in 1900.

Sitting here smoking a pipe with thunder rolling and multiple tornado watches. No rain yet but its coming. :)
The hummingbirds are crazy right now. There are at least 30 of them buzzing me.
