Deer season starts in roughly a month.
I can’t imagine, it’s been 80 by 8 am around here, hunting in shorts and sweating buckets.

The hummingbirds are crazy right now. There are at least 30 of them buzzing me.
An enchanting image you’ve embedded in my minds eye. I’ve never seen a hummingbird. I remember seeing a pipe on the forums, carved by some artisan, that was a hummingbird shape, but never seen a real one, let alone 30.
Cool here with intermittent showers.
Here they are.
They are here all day.
Kind of annoying but the wife likes them. :)

Youtube was the easiest way to post a video here with my limited knowledge and device. :)

The wife has 8 feeders around the property.
If you have never heard the sounds of 30+ hummingbirds nervously feeding and fighting, then you cannot conceive the annoyance. :)
Sometimes I cannot even sit out there.
Imagine the sound of a 1/2 pound bee constantly buzzing you, them multiply that by 30x.
Then there is the squeaking!!!!
Maddening!!!

We get hoards of them here, but I enjoy watching them as I sip a glass and a pipe. Once they discover all the feeders they can be demanding.
I’ve been in the garden and they will fly over and Hoover in front of me until I go fill them lol

Its funny you say that.
If the feeders are empty, the birds do not bother me.
But, if my wife is outside, they will pester her.
I am not unkind to the birds, they just know that im not the one to feed them.
They may be smarter than goats.
Our goats will pester a scarecrow or a tree for food!! :)
