Im hoping to have my bar done in a month or two . I like Henry McKenna as a " table whiskey
' , if there is such a term .. kinda like a Table Wine , which Im a fan of Frontera Malbec . Anyway , McKenna is just plain good but Im curious of something
What are your , say a few choices , of bourbon thats cheap and comes in the big bottles at no more than 30 bucks . I have a decanter than Im thinking I may just park on my bar when its done and I want to put a Table whiskey in it . If you whiskey bastids would just shoot out a few cheap favorites , Id be curious as to what there are because maybe if everyone or near everyone digs a certain one ... then that would be a good one for the decanter
My cheap favorites are
Henry McKenna
Evan Williams black label
Ezra Brooks
I dont care for Old Crow , its just about drinkable neat but is okish mixed , so nothing in that realm ... Like a good cheap favorite . Preferably not high proof but I can bend

Probably the same as you. I never tried Old Crow but I read that they had improved the quality control a few years ago. I think their mash bill is different than other bourbons.Ruffinogold wrote: ↑Thu Apr 13, 2023 6:02 pm Im hoping to have my bar done in a month or two . I like Henry McKenna as a " table whiskey
