One that I have is “ letters from Elmer Keith”, it is a treasure. I’ll save “Sixguns” of course. I love the non-PC nature of his writings!

When I was about that boys age, I was shooting a 22 and a BB gun rifle at summer camp. I won a prize on a cruise liner, some short years later, before I was of the age to drink. it was a bottle of chocolate liqueur, which I needed a parent or consenting adult to be able to accept. I think I tasted the stuff ,but after all ,I was on a cruise liner and I didn't want to take too many chances being so slight of weight , and the movement of the sea. To an extent, I believe in guns, when we have a government like the one we have.

Like a 45. I believe that the small primers are theoretically more accurate. Don't quote me on that.

I searched for a couple of years before I found my hardcover copy for $45, if I remember rightly. Money well spent.
