Whoa, Nellie! We have a $66.00 clay pipe sighting. https://www.smokingpipes.com/pipes/new/Clarin-Clay/

Whose idea is this? It's a disposable pipe, like a cob---Oh. Never mind.

Oh yeah man, I saw that. I don’t know whats going but Smokingpipes is getting really overpriced with everything.

I understand that inflation effects this, but who in their mind is spending that on a clay?

Actually, i’m not surprised as people spend $150+ on Corn Cob Pipes.

To each their own I guess

$150 on cobs should get about 5 or 6 pipes I would think.

Well, I am older than you, used to old-timey prices. I think $150.00 should buy me a lifetime supply with some left over to pass around to friends and leave to my heirs.

It'll bite your fingers if not your tongue.
Mine is a vulcanite stem jobber. So as long as you don't grab it by the bowl, you're good. It's a mistake you really only make once
I have 3 or 4 German clays with Vulcanite stems. They are superior smokers to the all-clay pipes. I have several double-walled porcelain Zenith pipes that are even better. But none come close to briar or cob.
Ron, can you tell us more about these porcelain pipes? I am intrigued.
