As promised a couple of days ago, here are a few of the pipes I'm tidying up at the moment.
If the pic uploads OK will post pics of a few of my more interesting Petersons.

The Eriksen is the first pipe I bought when I started collecting, interesting shape, heavy and smokes very nicely.
From the top down.

Eriksen (Denmark) bent free hand Dublin.

Correction needed.
The second and third pipes are both 305's one rusticated the other smooth.

I bought the smooth 305 new, even though it's now over 20 years old I've only smoked it a few times, hardly broken in.

Unsure about the rustic 305, still only very lightly smoked.

The 314 was the first Peterson I bought over 40 years ago, used it as a daily smoke for many years.

The Eriksen was preloved, was, and still is in excellent condition.

PS: note your from Texas, what part? have friends in Blanco, have visited them a couple of times over the years, Texas is a great state.

As a matter of interest, the smooth 305 has a nickel ferrule, the rustic 305 has a Sterling silver ferrule with an I hallmark indicating it was made in 1976.
