I think I sat down once and really cleaned all of mine for some reason. Now I’m in the “it gets a pipe cleaner if it needs it” camp.

Apparently, the oil from your nose can get rid of a lot of head on your beer. If it wasn't a good pour and you end up with too much head, wipe the oil from your nose and mix it into the foam, and it'll clear up.
