Mrs. King and I are going to the Renaissance festival next weekend. I have a friend who has a booth and I told her I would go. She got me complimentary tix. The fair has been going on for a month and a half and this will be the last weekend. I think a ticket costs $35. I didn't; look it up. I got two gratis.

Maybe we'll see some axe fighting while we're there. I like to watch jousting. I also like to watch an ox-pull, but that is a different kind of fair.

I am really just going because I like to eat a turkey leg like Henry VIII but I wouldn't mind a good axe fight.

I used to have friends in the SCA, but I thought it was pretty silly. Hard pass.
