I loaded a pipe last Friday, things came up and didn't get a chance to smoke it. Finally got to this afternoon. The top realky dried out but it's still pretty good. This was an inadvertant delayed gratification. Who else has done this either on purpose or accidental.

Ive done both . I dont know why it does what it does .... but it does . Douing a char light and a hit or two , then letting iot die off and come back to a few hours or days later ... its like 50% sweeter or something . Its a weird thing but a cool thing

I used to do exactly this everyday and smoke it on my way to work. Now I usually dont ever do it. I wouldnt mind doing it if it happened.

Now, a half smoked bowl revisited a few hours later is 99% of the time very harsh and bitey for me. I believe it is the moisture in the pipe from smoking that causes this. So when I leave a bowl with the intent to come back to it, I always use a pipe cleaner down the stem when I set it down and it helps sometimes.

I do it from time to time, mostly accidentally. Sometimes it tastes pretty good, sometimes it's got a funk. I guess it depends on what I'm smoking.
