Tongue

Has anyone started a thread about tongue? Does anyone eat it?

I had a tongue taco the other day. I have nothing to report aside from that it had...texture.

My wife makes it every once in a while, very soft texture to it. I quit getting it when mad cow/ chronic wasting hit the the different herds in places.

I went to a spanish restaurant in the Bronx once and they served me soup with a tongue and bone in it. I was real young. Being white, I did not try the soup.

I smoked one once. If you remove the membrane it tastes like roast.

I would think its more suited to freezing than canning. But what do I know.

I dont eat things like that ... liver , tripe etc ... I figure if I ever have to I will . Until then I pass . Kinda like GLP , H&H and C&D . If theyre the only thing left , Ill smoke the hell out if it
