How To Destroy Western Civilization, And Other Ideas from the Cultural Abyss, by Peter J. Kreeft.

I recommend it if you are interested in observational philosophy versus the speculative kind.

I have found the Anti-King. https://donnaashworth.com/2023/02/14/a-fearless-girl/. She fascinates me the way a scorpion would.

I like Kreeft. Philosophy that makes sense and has application to life. That's wisdom.

Excellent! I married her, but I never tamed her.

IT. I’m about 150 pages in so far. This one is kinda dragging so far. I’ve never seen the movie (either one) so I have no idea where it’s going but it better pick up quick or I’ll be shelving this one.

King is his own worst enemy. He likes his own words too much and fails to edit when needed. He is overrated.

"It's" as much a coming of age tale/growing older as horror. If you're not enjoying it so far, I doubt you will. Salem's Lot and Pet Semetary (also Cujo) are better if you want more focused horror. Don't read The Stand lol 😩😴
