I hate winter but I would do it if it was a good career move.

Congratulations.

The official state song of North Dakota is "The North Dakota Hymn."

North Dakota, North Dakota,
With thy prairies wide and free,
All thy sons and daughters love thee,
Fairest state from sea to sea;
North Dakota, North Dakota,
Here we pledge ourselves to thee.

Hear thy loyal children singing,
Songs of happiness and praise,
Far and long the echoes ringing,
Through the vastness of thy ways;
North Dakota, North Dakota,
We will serve thee all our days.

Onward, onward, onward going,
Light of courage in thine eyes,
Sweet the winds above thee blowing,
Green thy fields and fair thy skies;
North Dakota, North Dakota,
Brave the Soul that in thee lies.

God of freedom, all victorious,
Give us Souls serene and strong,
Strength to make the future glorious,
Keep the echo of our song;
North Dakota, North Dakota,
In our hearts forever long
.

North Dakota is the Peace Garden State.

"Keep up the good work," said the sailor to the airman.

Why not Minot? Freezin's the reason! It's a frozen hell in the winter, and I'm not sure the wind ever stops blowing. I lived north of there for a while, over the border in what has now become the Socialist Democratic Republic of Canada. Manitoba, too, was a frozen hell in the winter. Good luck, God bless, and pack yer longjohns and heated socks!

What a great memory and experience it must’ve been

Thanks everyone. We are very excited. We get to experience another part of the country we have never been. I have spoken to a lot of people and most of the feedback is actually really positive about the area.
