F my life
Well , if it does all go to shit , Ill just jump over to Peter Stokkebye . They have most anything Id want .... except a near perfect burley
Really , STG hasn't done an awful job . They do have some excellent blends . Hopefully they keep MB GE exactly the same . I just ordered another pound . If that blend changes its really gonna hurt me . Thing is , MB purchased crops over time and managed them to where a blend didnt change ... at least not noticeably . Surely , STG can keep the bigger sellers and continue the way MB did it . I mean if they dont , then why bother buying up MB
The Sutliff thing hurts too . You guys know MB and Sutliff are my two favorite producers , so my mood is a little pissy atm .
STG makes SWR too , right ? Ill tell ya what ... thats a good sign because the STG SWR is super . Its near exactly the same ... EXCEPT .... its smoother . I was pleasantly surprised when I smoked a new batch of SWR
Jeezus , imagine if SWR disappeared ... NO more .. SWR/Cob/Coffee ... that would suck . By any chance if anyone hasnt done SWR/Cob/Coffee , I really think you're missing out on one of lifes joys

I’m not sure who makes SWR but there was a lot of talk that they moved production or changed something. Most notably, people claim you get a huge hit of Vinegar on the tin/pouch note. And the smoke is just terrible if you get one of those batches.Ruffinogold wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2024 6:43 pmF my life

Certainly agree. The whole HH line is next level wonderful.
And Sutliff makes a lot of the blending leaf for Uhles, Peretti’s and everyone else. So those recipes will change some if they move to all Laudisi leaf instead of a combo of Sutliff and Laudisi like it is now.

I would not jump to any conclusions . . . I can see consolidation of production and closure of duplicate facilities . . . I do not see brand(s) elimination.
