This evening I'll be cooking Carne asada and Pollo on my little pit boss 2 burner flat top griddle. The meat is from my regular joint by the house and has never disappointed me or anyone else who has had it. The pit boss has been a real workhorse and we got a great deal on it from Amazon
Sounds great! Where are you camping?

He and I are currently only about 50 miles from each other as the crow flies. We are having some strange weather here in Southern California associated with monsoonal moisture these days, so depending on what sort of equipment he's got, he may be experiencing some unexpected challenges. Wild weather can create some very impactful camping memories, however!
Hope you're faring well,
@Mr Beardsley!

Oh yeah we had some cool flashes and booms from the storm that passed through. With the work that I did on the roof of the rv we were bone dry and I was able to maintain a temperature of 77 inside with the AC cycling in 100 degree weather

That looks like my kind of place!
Had a hankering for a burger so we stopped at Five Guys.
