They need culling around here and unfortunately they taste good too.
Right now, my only problem is a pair of freezers that grows emptier by the day. Its a 6 deer year, and i intend to do just that. Maybe i can have some early season fortune and still have Mrs Crow in a good mood by the time big duck season rolls around.
These furry monsters are back.
They used to be so bad I needed to eliminate them by the dozen. Then a couple years ago they just disappeared. It turns out there were a couple hawks keeping them in check in our yard. Now the hawks moved on and the munks are back.
May be time to get the 10/22 back in action.
And yes, they are tasty too....a pain to process but taste good.
Oh, and the crows are out of control as usual. We are harvesting corn, oats, rye and alfalfa soon, and they know it.
