March Madness Pool?

Any interest in a March Madness pool for PSF members?

I'd be happy to set it up and run it - do an agreed upon buy in and either winner take all or 1-2-3.

The first round starts on March 21st and having a pool is a fun friendly way to throw verbal barbs over games that are otherwise meaningless to you... Build a little camaraderie and have the chance at some winnings.

Let me know if you're interested here in the next week or so and I can PM each person to get their email address

FWIW, I am following the Golden Halo brackets.

I'd be down for that, depending on the buy in. The only gambling I typically care to do is at a poker table.

I'm giving this one a bump. No particular reason. I just happen to be haunting deserted threads today. Good times. :tumble:

It's Aquinas by a nose. Preordained in that line-up. Worthy candidates all, but the Angelic Doctor has the advantage. Teresa of Avila gave him a run for his money.

Teresa of Avila has been my pick. Aquinas has been strong.

My money is on Martin Luthor after Oliver Cromwell raids the joint before the playoffs. Henry VIII as a strong 2nd. Cromwell would have made a respectable showing himself had he not been sidelined with injuries. Elizabeth I is a shoe in for the Women's League after Mary Queen of Scots suddenly withdrew due to health reasons. John Westley states he is very much in the running despite setbacks he suspects may be due to interference from competitors. He is considering moving to Ireland to continue his training due to the peaceful atmosphere.
