This weekend I was down at Raleigh, NC for a ham radio fest. On the way back I stopped off by Creedmore at a little place my wife and I found to eat at. I had detoured around through Falls Lake anyway, just to see the scenery. As I was leaving I started to light up a bowl of Scotty's Salmon River, in the last ever PSF "Cob of the Year," the MM cob one (I love that pipe and am so glad I got two of them). Anyway, I realized I was on NC96, the road which goes down to Lizard Lick, NC the home of our late Mr Moo.
Just made me think of all of his great contributions and conversation on the old forum.
You are remembered sir.

I think I came around just in time to miss moo but was lucky enough to run right into his knowledge. His writings about flakes are the reason I dipped my toe into them. Of course anyone who pays attention to what I smoke knows that I did a cannonball into the pool and stayed there.
